i'm not sure. some things will kill you if they don't come out. others struggle to take shape. somewhere between is grief and praise. but no center to find. you love your life and me mine. though the question is one of duty. and drawing it nigh. the underworld has a little drip of sun dripping in. the griever is long forgotten. you were born in a myth. and we are still in one. the whole picture. takes adult eyes. ashen for years. to see it through. if you love enough. tears. the learning becomes practice. the work never not here. none of these are quite particularly good or finished songs. but the gods look for intention. and what is a gift. and sure all art is luxury. and real ones still peasant and pagan. and those days when singing was just a part of the day. like the sun spilt on the hill. you too are trying live on it. trying to be of it. trying not to disappear.
